At noon on July 13, 2025, a 35-year-old mother identified as Ms. Pang filed a complaint with media seeking justice for her 14-year-old daughter, a Grade 9 student at a Pattaya school. Two Grade 10 male students from the same school climbed over the fence to her home late at night and dragged her daughter into a storage room, where they sexually assaulted her at around 2 a.m. on June 21.
Ms. Pang revealed that she learned of the assault two days later from her daughter's friend. After confronting her daughter, the girl confessed the entire ordeal. The mother filed a report with Nong Prue police, but twenty days have passed with no progress in the investigation. The perpetrators have spread rumors about the incident throughout the school, and one even broadcast the story on social media, falsely claiming the girl was willing. The humiliation has left the girl traumatized and unwilling to attend school. A former local politician even attempted to mediate the case by offering 5,000 baht in compensation, which the mother rejected.
The incident occurred at the family home on Chai Phruek 2 Soi, Nong Prue, Bang Lamung, Chon Buri. The two suspects, named Ti and Te, both 15 years old, had been invited by the daughter to retrieve an electronic cigarette. They climbed over the fence without permission, dragged the girl into a tool storage room and bathroom, and assaulted her despite her resistance and pleas that her parents were sleeping inside. The girl said she was silenced by their hands and froze from fear. After the assault, both suspects fled. The girl now refuses to leave her room and the school has been unable to take meaningful action while the case remains pending, prompting her parents to withdraw her and enroll her in another school.
