View Yaowapha Promotes Thai Boxing with Muay Thai Saturday Superfight
View Yaowapha, an Olympic bronze medalist, launched Muay Thai Saturday Superfight at Bluport Hua Hin to give local and international fighters real competitive experience while promoting Thai boxing to tourists and enthusiasts.
On the evening of Saturday, May 23rd, The Legend Arena on the 3rd floor of Bluport Hua Hin hosted a packed Muay Thai Saturday Superfight event, Hua Hin's regular boxing venue designed to promote Thai sports and create opportunities for local fighters, youth, and international boxers to compete in real matches.
The event drew both Thai and foreign spectators who came to watch in close quarters. The atmosphere around the ring was filled with cheering, entertainment, and excitement, with international Muay Thai students getting the chance to step into the ring for real experience—a genuine introduction to authentic competitive Muay Thai.
The matches were intense and entertaining, particularly the fourth bout featuring young Canadian fighter Matcharaj Khao S. Kreingkai who unleashed a full arsenal before winning on points against Thanoolek Petchrachanachai, a student of Petchrachanachai, drawing roaring cheers from the crowd.
The main event was another standout match that impressed boxing fans when Thanaphat Sak Lukpoo came out aggressively and defeated Petchfaachai King of Muay Thai by points in a thrilling performance that delighted spectators, particularly foreign tourists experiencing the energy of Muay Thai up close.
Led by View Yaowapha Burporchai, a former Thai national taekwondo athlete and Olympic bronze medalist turned Muay Thai promoter, the event is part of her mission to establish an accessible and enjoyable Muay Thai venue in Hua Hin that creates opportunities for young athletes and international Muay Thai enthusiasts.
Yaowapha Burporchai stated: "Our goal is to create a platform where Thai boxers, local fighters, youth, and international Muay Thai enthusiasts can compete in real matches, learn, and experience the charm of Muay Thai up close. We're grateful to Bluport Hua Hin for their continued support in promoting Muay Thai. This allows us to organize quality activities for Hua Hin and help raise Thailand's Muay Thai profile among both Thai and international tourists."
Muay Thai Saturday Superfight is held monthly on the third week at The Legend Arena, 3rd floor of Bluport Hua Hin, serving as a vibrant Muay Thai platform that promotes sports tourism and elevates Thailand's international image in the sport.
