Nene Royal Decides to Take AGT Prize as Lump Sum
Thai rock prodigy Nene Royal won America’s Got Talent 2026 and has chosen to receive her prize as a lump‑sum payment. She urged children and adults to chase their dreams through hard work, finding their style, and performing on any stage. Nene says she will keep making music, touring, and staying true to her rock sound.
Nene Royal and her father confirmed that she will take the America’s Got Talent prize as a single lump sum rather than yearly installments, noting that the amount may be under $1 million but that is acceptable. Reports say the lump‑sum payout would be roughly US$300,000‑$430,000 (about 9.9‑14.2 million baht) before taxes. She added that she already owns a condo in the Bang Na area that is being decorated, a gift from businessman Thinnapat Jirawann, and she plans to use the prize to further her music career while continuing to perform rock music nationwide.
