Phuket Singer Nene Royal Eyes Global Career After AGT Success
Phuket-born Nene Royal has gained international recognition after appearing on America's Got Talent and now eyes a global music career with upcoming releases and international tours.
Young Thai artist Rattikant Amloy, known as Nene Royal from Phuket, has become a household name after showcasing her musical talent on the global stage of America's Got Talent. Following a performance for Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and cabinet members, Nene Royal expressed her gratitude to Thai supporters and asked them to follow her social media accounts for encouragement.
When asked about the shock of becoming famous overnight, Nene Royal said she is still processing how quickly her life has changed, noting that she cannot even buy street food anymore without being recognized. Her ultimate dream is to become a world-class artist, create her own music, and tour internationally. She revealed that she already has several songs in the works and will release them soon.
Nene Royal emphasized that when introducing herself, she proudly stated she is from Phuket, Thailand, to make clear she is a southerner from Phuket. Addressing claims that she is Cambodian, she firmly reiterated that she is 100% Thai with no other ethnic background, confirming her identity as a Phuket native of Thailand.
