PM Anuten Appoints Weeraphong Prabha as Trade Representative, Replacing Phaetongtharn as Premier's Advisor

Prime Minister Anuten Chaiyverakul has appointed Weeraphong Prabha as one of three new trade representatives for Thailand, taking over duties previously handled under the previous administration's EU and US negotiations.

On April 27, 2569, Prime Minister Anuten Chaiyverakul and the Interior Minister signed Prime Minister's Office Order No. 104/2569, appointing three qualified individuals as advisors to serve as Thailand's trade representatives: 1) Nongnuch Petchrattana, 2) Chuntin Kongsak, and 3) Weeraphong Prabha, effective immediately from April 27, 2569.

According to reports, Weeraphong Prabha previously served as deputy leader of the Democratic Party (International Economic Affairs) and was an advisor to Prime Minister Phaetongtharn Shinawatra, where he served as Thailand's trade representative handling trade negotiations with the European Union (EU) and the United States.
