The PM emphasized the importance of their cooperation, noting that these local leaders are the first point of contact with citizens and requested their assistance in conducting thorough community drug safety assessments to prevent trafficking and consumption. Regarding Bangkok MP Phandit Nuamcherd of the Pheu Thai Party's parliamentary attacks suggesting village chiefs had involvement with drug trafficking, the PM stated that most officials perform their duties well. However, he noted that the MP in question has already apologized, which reflects the inaccuracy of his claims. "If he had spoken the truth, he wouldn't have apologized," the PM said, indicating the matter is resolved.
