He said it was better to take the risk than go to jail. After ramming police and fleeing for seven years, a drug dealer who had been caught in a sting operation was finally arrested on October 11, 2026. Provincial police, led by Pol. Lt. Gen. Phatthanasak Bubpasuwann, arrested 32‑year‑old Man at a house in Moo 1, Mahaphoti Subdistrict, Sasot District, Lopburi Province. He was wanted on a warrant issued by Nakhon Sawan Provincial Court on April 18, 2019, for possession of Category 1 narcotics (methamphetamine) with intent to sell. Officers seized a semi‑automatic pistol and 182 rounds of 9 mm ammunition.
The investigation revealed that on April 4, 2019, police had sent an undercover agent to buy 10,000 methamphetamine tablets from Man for 115,000 baht, with the handover set on a public road between Khwaeng and Ladthipras in Nakhon Sawan. When the exchange was about to take place, Man became aware of the sting, accelerated his vehicle into the officers to escape, and fled. After gathering evidence, police obtained an arrest warrant, and the National Police Bureau listed him as the 130th most‑wanted fugitive for 2026. Later, detectives learned he was hiding in Lopburi and moved in to arrest him, recovering the weapon and ammunition.
During interrogation, Man admitted that in 2019 he had sold 10,000 methamphetamine tablets to the undercover agent and had driven his car at police to break free. He was handed over to the investigators at Chansen Police Station in Nakhon Sawan for further legal action.
