Sugar Chalita Opens Up About 2-Year Relationship with Charlie Temple, Still Not Ready for Marriage; Emphasizes Quality Content Over Engagement Bait
Sugar Chalita revealed she's been dating Charlie Temple for nearly two years but isn't ready for marriage, preferring to focus on her career and creating meaningful content rather than chasing viral moments.
Sugar Chalita shared relationship updates at the EVEANDBOY BEST SELLING AWARDS 2025 event at One Bangkok, discussing her nearly two-year romance with international boyfriend Charlie Temple. Though she loves him deeply and he's supportive, she's not yet considering marriage, preferring to focus on work and personal life first. She stressed that she and her collaborator Naht prioritize creating meaningful, socially beneficial content rather than chasing viral moments through drama.
When asked about sharing couple moments, she joked they rarely post anything sweet and that her friend takes photos instead. Her boyfriend recently surprised her with pink shoes he knew she wanted. She clarified he doesn't always spoil her—if she wants something, she just tells him. He never shows up empty-handed to events and is consistently supportive. She noted this is simply his responsibility, and she doesn't expect grand gestures; she's content as long as they're together and she can be herself.
Regarding language barriers, she explained that daily English practice has made communication smoother over time. He understands Thai culture exceptionally well, even better than she does in some ways. She spends more time with her work partner Naht than her boyfriend due to their filming schedule, though he occasionally mentions they haven't seen each other in a day.
She's been dating for nearly two years with multiple anniversary dates they celebrate—though she can't remember official dates since she's forgetful and he remembers their first meeting. When asked about marriage plans, she said she's not ready yet and wants to continue working, earning, and living life. She enjoys attending weddings and catching the bouquet but hasn't succeeded yet.
On content creation, she and Naht discuss what to produce, being mindful of appropriateness and cultural sensitivity. She rarely creates trend-chasing content, preferring to serve helpful material that educates and entertains. They balance meaningful content with lighter, frivolous posts. Many creators struggle with location permissions, and she acknowledged this is a concern—she always asks permission before filming and doesn't act recklessly.
