Sukhothai took the lead in the 37th minute from a penalty kick by Matheus Gustavo, but Ratchaburi equalized through Enjiwa Martin's strike in the 59th minute at 1-1. It wasn't enough for the hosts as Martin converted another penalty in the 71st minute to put Ratchaburi ahead 2-1. No further goals were scored as the match ended with Sukhothai losing 1-2 at home. Sukhothai remains in 13th place with 25 points, just one point ahead of Muangthong United in 14th place, with two matches remaining. Ratchaburi climbed to 53 points to maintain their runner-up position.
