Tae explained that the group planned the meetup to catch up on life, share a meal, and spend time together. When asked who initiated the reunion, Tae couldn't remember but said she just went along: "We basically updated each other on how life has been going and what everyone's up to."

Asked if it felt like a moms and kids vibe, she said: "Kind of. Those who recently had babies watch those whose kids are already running around, and those without kids chat together."

On what she got out of the reunion: "We just ate until we were full. That's really all there was to it—just updating each other."

When asked if their group chat is quiet, Tae said: "It's not completely silent, but we don't discuss everything. It's more like we message every now and then. We take turns. But mostly we don't really chat much—it's more like someone invites and we follow up. It feels like there's a group leader checking in on everyone."

Asked about Tae's absence, she said: "Let's just say Tae hasn't shown her true colors. I think maybe love and work keep her busy. But we're happy for our friends no matter what stage of life they're in—whether it's work or relationships. We give each other space."

On whether any big announcements are coming, Tae smiled and said: "I don't know, I won't tell. But we're ready to support each other with whatever comes. If something happens and someone tells the group, we'd definitely mark the calendar and cheer them on."

Regarding the long-awaited Naki film, Tae said: "It's been three years. We're waiting. People keep asking when, but we understand it's a production matter. It's a big project that both the cast and audience are invested in. Let's give them time. It's coming this October."

On her own plans for motherhood, Tae said casually: "For me, whenever it happens. It's a natural thing—sometimes your body cooperates, sometimes it doesn't."

On pregnancy superstitions, Tae was clear: "I don't believe in that stuff. I've never really thought body shape has so much to do with it. The body of former Dragon Five singer Taewich "Tae" Taepan was found floating in the Chao Phraya River near Rama VII Bridge in Nonthaburi on Friday, after his family reported him missing earlier this week.

Tae, 46, was reported missing by his girlfriend after he left their home with his bicycle at around 04:00 on August 6 and could not be contacted.

Police from Bang Kruai Police Station launched a search operation after receiving the missing person report. Investigators reviewed CCTV footage from outside the housing estate, which showed Tae riding his bicycle away alone in the early morning.

Authorities also contacted his cycling group friends, nearby hospitals and police stations in the area, but found no information about his whereabouts.

Police said Tae left home without his phone or a location-tracking watch. His family also denied reports of any family conflict or a history of depression.

After his body was found, officials recovered the remains and will send them for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.

Tae was a member of Thai boy band Dragon Five, which debuted in 2000 under GMM Grammy. The group, known for its Asian-inspired music style and choreography influenced by martial arts, consisted of five members — Oak, Andy, Yuan, Tao and Tae — before ending activities in 2002.

The Department of Mental Health is mobilizing an 82-member Mental Health Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team (MCATT) to provide psychological support following an armed incident at Thepsirin School in Nonthaburi. Department director Dr. Kittisak Aksornvong stated that although the immediate situation has been resolved, the trauma may have lasting psychological effects on students, parents, teachers, education staff, and witnesses.

The multidisciplinary team, drawn from Sridhammasot Hospital, Mental Health Center 4, the Rajanagarindra Institute for Child and Adolescent Mental Health, the Galjanagarindra Institute, and the Mental Health System Administration, has been deployed to three locations: Thepsirin School, Chanyarattana School, and Bangkok Noi Hospital in Nonthaburi. The intervention is structured in phases: within 1–14 days, the MCATT team will conduct first-aid assessments, risk evaluation, and therapeutic activities for students, teachers, and parents, with close follow-up of bereaved families. During weeks 2–12, the team will continue individual and family psychological recovery, monitor for trauma-related disorders, and build psychological resilience among teachers, staff, and students to facilitate their return to normal functioning.

Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Interior Minister visited Thepsirin School in Nonthaburi on August 7, 2025, to investigate a school shooting. Anutin described the incident as deeply regrettable, noting that the event had concluded before his arrival. The suspect still had approximately 30 rounds of ammunition remaining; had he not taken his own life first, additional casualties could have occurred.

Anutin revealed that initial findings suggest the shooting was motivated by academic stress. The suspect's grandmother, a teacher, reportedly pressured him to excel in his studies with strict discipline. Anutin emphasized that the suspect's decision to end his life was voluntary and not coerced by authorities. He noted that while he avoided the word "fortunate," the suspect's suicide prevented further escalation. Had the suspect survived and resisted, police intervention could have become more complicated, potentially resulting in additional tragedy given the suspect's age. Anutin stated that criminal proceedings will be concluded quickly since there is no suspect to apprehend, and lessons learned will be used to strengthen safety measures in schools, universities, and public spaces.

Thailand's Department of Highways (DOH) has confirmed it will begin trial operations of the M6 motorway section between Bang Pa-in and Pak Chong free of charge on weekends starting 21 August 2026, allowing motorists to travel continuously toward Nakhon Ratchasima. DOH Director-General Piyapong Jiwattanakulpaisan said the 110-kilometre section will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday without toll fees as part of a trial service.
