The Teqball World Series Ayutthaya 2026 serves as a warm-up for the World Championships, with top-ranked players converging on Ayutthaya. As a Tier 2 event just below the World Championships, winners earn 1,200 world ranking points, attracting elite competitors including men's singles world number one Apor Gyorgydeak of Romania, men's doubles top-ranked Marek Pokwap of Poland, women's singles leader Jutatip Kuntathong, and women's doubles top pair Supawadee Wongkhamchan. Thailand, as host, received wildcard entries allowing young athletes nationwide to gain international experience and develop toward the senior national team. The tournament also doubles as a selection event for the 2026 Teqball World Championships in Hungary from December 1-6. On the opening day, the men's doubles highlighted Asian Games 2026 gold medalists Sarawut 'So' Teerasit and Jirate 'Tom' Chanthaliang, who won all three group matches to advance to the knockout stage as group winners.
