Thai Royals Honor War Dead At Paris Monument
Thailand's King and Queen honored fallen soldiers at the Arc de Triomphe during a state visit to Paris, followed by meetings with city officials and museum visits focused on sustainability and Thai textiles.
On June 30, 2025, Their Majesties the King and Queen visited the Arc de Triomphe to lay wreaths in commemoration of unknown soldiers. They then proceeded to Paris City Hall, where the mayor of Paris welcomed them and delivered remarks about the "Paris for Sustainability" vision. The royal party traveled by electric boat and listened to a presentation on conservation efforts for the Seine River ecosystem. In the afternoon, they visited the "Royal Textiles Worldwide" exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris at the invitation of Princess Siriwannavari Nariratana.
