Buddhist temples across northeastern Thailand are creating sacred amulets and talismans to raise funds for construction and monastery development. Wat Ratsadsamakkhi in Na Chueok District, Maha Sarakham, under the leadership of Phra Kru Sutsailawuthi, has launched an urgent project to complete a sermon hall by 2019 and is producing distinctive Hanuman meditation amulets seated on a throne with inscriptions as collectible sacred objects for worship sponsorship. The article documents several examples of temple amulet creation, including Luang Phu Ong Coins from Khao Wongkot Forest Monastery in Chantaburi, coins of Luang Phu Geot from Wat Saphan in Nakhon Nayok created in 1936, and coins of Luang Phu Rung from Wat Nong Si Noi in Nakhon Sawan created in 1946 with his teacher Luang Phu Derm later blessing them for distribution at the funeral.
