A woman posted a video showing her husband in bed with another woman, which quickly went viral across Thailand with over 70 million views before being removed. The wife, still legally married, expressed her anger at the situation. Lawyer Pattana, representing the wife's legal interests, has since posted multiple calls for responsibility, asking the original video source to delete all copies and asking viewers to exercise discretion. He emphasized that sharing such content without understanding its legal implications could result in criminal liability under computer laws.
Online users have focused on details in the video, including a Doraemon pillow and a green thermos on the bed. Lawyer Pattana repeatedly stressed the legal gravity of the case, stating it involves workplace matters and requires careful attention to legal implications. He clarified that as long as a marriage registration exists, the woman maintains the legal status of primary wife, regardless of claims that either party has declared themselves single.
The wife posted emotional messages on Facebook, noting they had been married for three years without divorce proceedings. Lawyer Pattana warned that sharing or forwarding explicit videos can result in imprisonment for up to five years and fines up to 100,000 baht under the Computer Crime Act, Section 14.
