A young business owner in Lan Sak district lost a 34,500-baht drone package when a courier employee's motorcycle strap broke during delivery on April 27, leaving her responsible for refunding her customer. The courier company is investigati
On April 30, 2569, a homeowner named Ms. Kanokwan (surname withheld), 31, filed a complaint after her drone package went missing during courier delivery on April 27 at approximately 11:55 AM. The package contained a DJI Air3s drone combo kit with a remote control, charger, three batteries, and filters valued at approximately 34,500 baht, with a shipping fee of 111 baht paid to a courier company in Lan Sak district.
After the courier employee picked up the package, they called to report that the parcel had fallen and been lost somewhere along the road between Rabam subdistrict and Lan Sak district. Ms. Kanokwan and her husband searched for three days without finding it. When they contacted the courier employee about compensation, the employee acknowledged responsibility but took no action over the following three days. This forced Ms. Kanokwan to refund her customer and file a complaint, as she cannot afford such losses. She is offering a reward to anyone who finds and returns the package.
When the reporter contacted the courier employee, Ms. Kosam (surname withheld) from Lan Sak district explained that another employee had picked up the package and handed it to her for further delivery. While transporting multiple parcels on her motorcycle, she noticed a securing strap had come loose. Upon stopping to check, she discovered the customer's package had already fallen and disappeared. She immediately called Ms. Kanokwan to report the incident without any intention of theft, but the loss occurred due to the strap breaking—an unforeseen accident. The courier company told her she alone would be held responsible since the package never reached their warehouse.
When the reporter visited the courier company, management stated they are investigating the matter and have referred it to their legal team to review what happened with the employee, as the error was directly caused by individual employee negligence.
