Ten Attacks Anuthin: Running Away with Nationalism for One Party Only

During a campaign rally on January 31st at the Ban Mo Market near Chiang Kham Hospital in Phayao province, Yossanan Wongsawat, Pheu Thai Party's prime ministerial candidate, delivered a strong political message alongside party candidates. Yossanan emphasized that he is a northerner seeking support from Phayao residents. He highlighted the party's vision of making Phayao a livable city with creative economics and improved quality of life. He criticized the current political landscape, particularly focusing on drug issues and corruption. Nattawut Saikua, another Pheu Thai campaign helper, directly challenged Prime Minister Anuthit's campaign rhetoric. He accused Anuthit of "stealing nationalism" and creating divisive political narratives by suggesting only his party truly loves the country. Nattawut argued that such rhetoric unfairly marginalizes other political parties and creates unnecessary social tension. The campaign speech was part of a broader strategy to mobilize voters, with Nattawut explicitly telling supporters not to fear voting for Pheu Thai, even if they feel intimidated by other political pressures.
