Where is the ferry pier on Ko Lanta?
The main passenger ferry pier is in Sala Dan at the northern tip of the island — ferries to Krabi Town, Ko Phi Phi, and Phuket depart from here. Yes. Ko Lanta Yai has been connected to the mainland by road since 2019 via two bridges through the island of Ko Klang. Driving from Krabi Town takes roughly 1.5–2 hours. The route crosses the bridges at the northern end of the island and arrives at Sala Dan. Car hire is available at the pier and in Klong Dao.
