Tawanchai Responds After Niko Wins Interim World Title with Right to Challenge
Tawanchai, the true ONE Muay Thai Featherweight World Champion, has responded after Niko Carrillo defeated Chado to win the interim title and earn the right to challenge for the true championship. Chado Mawin lost by decision to Niko Carrillo, a Scottish fighter, in the ONE Fight Night 40 event on Saturday morning, February 14th at Lumpinee Stadium (Ramintra). This victory allows Niko to claim the interim ONE Muay Thai Featherweight World Title (145-155 lbs), setting up a future championship fight with Tawanchai, who is currently recovering from an injury.
Most recently, Tawanchai posted on his personal Facebook page, saying 'Wait a bit, it's going to be delicious #PeopleAreWatchingNow', sending a signal to Niko before their upcoming true world championship fight.
