Nonthaburi Prisoner Confesses to Jail Break, Worried About Lonely Father

Chuchai, a 40-year-old prisoner, scaled the wall of Nonthaburi Prison and escaped at 02:22 AM on February 13th. Special prison operation teams were tracking him. At 4:20 PM on February 14th, police officers received a report from locals about a suspicious man in a red shirt and cap sleeping at a bus stop shelter in Phrueksa 41 Village. Upon investigation, they confirmed it was the escaped prisoner Chuchai. When questioned, Chuchai admitted he broke out because he was worried about his father living alone and wanted to take care of him. After capture, prison authorities took him into custody and planned to transfer him to a high-security prison.
