Police officers from multiple units successfully arrested Warayuth, 41, capturing 150 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine hidden in a secret compartment of a bronze Toyota Commuter van with Chiang Mai license plates. The arrest took place on February 19 around 4:00 PM near the traffic checkpoint of Nong Pling Police Station in Nakhon Sawan province. The suspect was part of a drug trafficking network operating between Bangkok, Ayutthaya, and Chiang Rai, transporting drugs from northern Thailand to distribute in central regions and Bangkok metropolitan area. The drugs were carefully concealed in a reinforced secret compartment under the van's roof, packed in red tea bags with Chinese characters and sealed in clear plastic.
