Fern from Chonburi Thanks Suchart for Supporting Vote Recount, Emphasizes Citizen Rights
Fern Kanokwan, a representative from Chonburi, thanked Suchart Chom-klin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, for supporting a vote recount in Election District 1. She emphasized that while Suchart supports the recount, the ultimate decision lies with the seven Election Commission members.
Fern stressed that her request for a recount follows legal procedures, from submitting documents to the local Election Commission to central authorities' investigation. She insisted that her campaign is not an incitement but a legitimate request based on evidence of voting irregularities.
Addressing claims that she is not from Election District 1, Fern stated that all citizens have the same rights regardless of district. She also addressed personal attacks about her side business in installment sales and merchandise financing, affirming that her business operates transparently and with customers' willing participation.
She remains committed to monitoring the ballot boxes until the Election Commission announces a potential recount, asking supporters to continue gathering evidence and following legal protest guidelines.
