Queen Attends Women's Ice Hockey Bronze Medal Match at 2026 Winter Olympics

Her Majesty the Queen traveled by royal car from the Palace Hotel in Como to the Milano Santa Giulia Ice Hockey Arena in Milan. Upon arrival, she was greeted by Luc Tardif, President of the International Ice Hockey Federation, IOC Member Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul, and her husband Somsak Leeswadtrakul. She watched the bronze medal match between the national teams of Sweden and Switzerland, in her capacity as a women's ice hockey ambassador for the federation. The Queen wore a black full-length A-line wool jacket with silk lining and was elegantly accessorized with gold and opal jewelry. The ice hockey match followed standard rules with two 6-player teams competing for 60 minutes divided into three 20-minute periods, with the team scoring the most goals declared the winner.
