MP Ball and Police Captain Send Lawyers to Postpone Cybercrime Police Meeting
MP Plakorn Phimmanit (known as MP Ball) and a police captain from Maha Sarakham province have sent their lawyers to request a postponement of their meeting with cybercrime investigators. The investigation involves a network of online gambling websites linked to local politicians in the Isan region. Arrest warrants have been issued for five individuals, including local politicians Pathanan Chandon and Pathomphong Phu-tao-ngern, on charges of organizing online gambling and money laundering. The case centers on allegations of creating, advertising, and facilitating online lottery gambling through electronic media, with financial trails connecting various network participants.
