Tragic Motorcycle Accident: 14-Year-Old Girl Dies After Riding with Two Friends from Temple Festival

A tragic accident occurred when three young girls were riding a motorcycle after attending a temple merit-making ceremony. At 3:00 PM on February 15, 2024, police at Satuek Police Station in Buriram Province were notified of a motorcycle accident at a curve on the Satuek-Kandong road. Upon arrival, they found a Honda Wave motorcycle in pieces, with three injured girls. One 14-year-old girl was critically injured and later died. CCTV footage revealed the motorcycle was traveling at high speed, swerved off the road, hit a roadside vendor's shelter, and then violently crashed into an electric pole. The grandmother revealed she had warned her granddaughter not to go, fearing an accident.
