Intense Incident! Indonesian Man Burns Down House After Catching Father Bringing Another Woman Home
An Indonesian man became enraged and set fire to his father's house after discovering his father was bringing another woman home. The incident took place on February 4th in Sumberagung Village, Pati City, Central Java, Indonesia, where a man burned down his father's house after learning about his extramarital relationship.
Investigations revealed that the perpetrator, Mr. K., around 37 years old, had long-standing family conflicts, with his parents separated for over two years. The incident began when the perpetrator's sibling intended to care for their sick father but discovered him with another woman, leading to a heated confrontation and being expelled from the house. The sibling then told Mr. K. about the situation.
After hearing the details, Mr. K. rushed to address the issue, but the situation escalated. He ultimately decided to buy fuel, pour it on the floor and bed, and immediately set it on fire. Despite villagers' attempts to extinguish the fire, it quickly spread to two neighboring houses, causing damage estimated at 250 million rupiah (approximately 460,000 baht).
However, no one was injured or killed, and police have taken Mr. K. into custody to pursue legal action. The report notes that Sumberagung Village is a community primarily engaged in agriculture and livestock, with a peaceful atmosphere and strong community bonds. This incident has deeply shocked and saddened the villagers.
