Korean Millionaire and Beauty Clinic Owner Found Dead in Luxury Home
A Korean millionaire who owned beauty clinics and golf courses was found dead in his luxury home on February 11, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Police received a report of a foreign national who had apparently used a firearm to take his own life in a high-end housing project in Nong Prue, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province.
Upon arrival, investigators found Mr. Wonhoa Jung, 55, a South Korean national and the homeowner, deceased on the sofa. He had a gunshot wound to the left chest that severed his heart. A handgun and a wine bottle were found near his body.
A handwritten note in Korean was discovered, suggesting deep grief over his wife's death four months earlier. The note read: 'Throughout my life, I saw her every day. But after not seeing her for 4 months, I miss her every day.'
Preliminary police investigation suggests the death was likely a suicide, possibly triggered by depression following his wife's sudden death. The case remains under investigation, with the body to be sent for forensic examination at Police General Hospital.
