Man Arrested for Attempted Sexual Assault After Offered Transportation by Victim's Mother

A 37-year-old man named Krisda was arrested for attempted sexual assault after he lured a young woman under the guise of taking her to a dental clinic. The incident occurred when he drove the victim to a university parking lot and attempted to sexually assault her. The victim struggled and screamed for help, which caused the suspect to stop his actions. She immediately reported the incident to police, leading to his arrest in Bang Bua Thong, Nonthaburi Province. The suspect was arrested based on an arrest warrant (No. 875/2569) for attempted rape using force and threats. The victim had been introduced to the suspect by her own mother approximately one year prior to the incident.
