Female Student Crashes Car into Cement Truck, 5 Friends Injured
A female student was driving her friends back from a university activity when she crashed into a cement truck, causing severe damage and injuring 5 people. Police Lieutenant Patiphak Ngao Kaew from Bang Khla Police Station reported the incident occurred at 9:00 PM on February 3rd at the sports field intersection in Bang Khla District, Chachoengsao Province. A Nissan Almera with Chonburi license plates was found severely damaged at the scene. The 5 injured students were all rescued from the vehicle. The driver, Thanyaporn (last name withheld), 19, and her four friends - Phongsakorn, Noppawit, Itthichai, and Chaisit, aged 19-21 - were all students from the same university. The cement truck driver, Sarote, 51, stated that the car was speeding and did not brake before the collision. The university's student affairs dean noted the students were returning to their dormitory when the accident occurred. Authorities will conduct a detailed investigation and follow legal procedures.
