Tragic Electrocution: Father and Son Die Together in Bathroom

On February 9, police and rescue foundation staff investigated a fatal electrocution incident in Pak Kret district. The scene was a single-story house and electrical repair shop located at 51/9 Bang Phut Subdistrict, Tiwanon-Pak Kret Soi 34. Two victims were found: Chatchawan Sengchanuan, 66, wearing black long pants and a blue shirt, and his son Chutiphan Sengchanuan, 22, who was unclothed. Both had burn marks on their hands. Forensic investigation revealed an electrical leak in the shower head of the water heater. The younger son, Chairat Sengchanuan, discovered the bodies when he returned home from work. Authorities suspect the older son was electrocuted first while bathing, with the father attempting to help and subsequently being electrocuted as well.
