Security Forces Conduct Widespread Raid, Detain 3 Suspects in Ranae District

On February 6, 2024, security personnel conducted a targeted operation in Tan Yong Mat Subdistrict, Ranae District, Narathiwat Province. Three suspects were apprehended: Astan (24 years old), Asmee (28 years old), who are brothers, and Hambalee (23 years old), all local laborers. The detainees were taken to the Ranger Task Force Unit 45 and underwent medical examination at Ranae Hospital. The operation follows new legislation requiring continuous audio-video recording during detention and strict legal protocols to prevent potential human rights violations.
