Tragic: Young Man Seeking Ordination Found Dead in Temple Quarters

Police in Nakhon Ratchasima were alerted to a death inside a second-floor temple quarters. Rescue volunteers had to climb through a window to access the locked room, finding a 22-year-old man named 'A' (pseudonym) who had hanged himself. A letter was discovered apologizing to the temple abbot and explaining his situation, including claims of being falsely accused. The victim had arrived at the temple three weeks earlier to be ordained and had been helping with temple work. On the day of his death, he did not appear to help with temple duties, which raised suspicions among the monks. Police collected the letter as evidence and transported the body to Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital for a detailed forensic examination.
