Lawyer Ann Questions Election Commission over QR Code and Ballot Irregularities

On February 18, 2024, at the Election Commission (EC) office, Phatraphong Supaksakorn, also known as Lawyer Ann from Buriram, made a statement. He referenced the recent death of a movie character, which reminded him of his brother Bak Waeng, a high-ranking EC official. Lawyer Ann is deeply concerned about who will manage future elections, believing the current election will be 100% invalid. On February 13, he had submitted a request to the Ombudsman to refer two issues to the Constitutional Court: the QR code and ballot concerns. The Ombudsman responded on February 16, indicating they had only asked the EC to investigate the QR code issue. Lawyer Ann is puzzled why only one of his two submitted issues is being examined and questions whether the Ombudsman is being straightforward or subtly signaling something.
