Deal Finalized: Government Secures 300 Votes with Klaa Tham and Democrat Parties in Opposition, Naming 5 External Ministers

The government coalition led by Bhumjaithai Party is now complete, with 193 seats from the party, 74 seats from Pheu Thai Party, and 33 seats from smaller parties, totaling 300 votes. The opposition parties, including People's Party with 118 seats, Klaa Tham with 58 seats, Democrat Party with 22 seats, and Ruam Thai Sang Chart with 2 seats, will total 200 seats. The five external ministers will include Sihsakdi Paungketchaekeo as Deputy PM and Foreign Minister, Supajee Suthamphanu as Deputy PM and Commerce Minister, Ekniti Nitithanprapas as Deputy PM and Finance Minister, Borwornsak Uwanno as Deputy PM for Legal Affairs, and Phreedee Dawchai expected as Energy Minister. Pheu Thai Party will retain 5 ministerial positions in Agriculture, Higher Education, Education, Labor, and Social Development ministries.
