On February 12, Emergency Line 199 received a report of a house fire in the Phattana Mai Community on Sunthon Kosa Road in Khlong Toei, Bangkok. Khlong Toei Fire and Rescue Station responded with water trucks to the scene. The incident involved a two-story wooden house, with the fire starting on the ground floor and quickly spreading to neighboring houses, accompanied by periodic electrical explosions. Officials coordinated with the Metropolitan Electricity Authority to cut power for safety. After approximately 30 minutes of water spraying, the fire was controlled. A total of 5 houses were completely destroyed, with 4 additional houses partially damaged, covering an area of about 190 square meters. One 59-year-old woman was found injured and taken to the hospital. Preliminary investigations suggest the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit.
