DDPM Transfers Another Round of Flood Relief, Helping 140,000 Households with 1.3 Billion Baht Budget
On February 18, 2026, Theeraphath Kachmatt, Director-General of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM), revealed that the Cabinet approved an additional 2,203,445,900 baht in flood relief to help 243,557 households that have not yet received assistance. DDPM and Government Savings Bank will transfer funds to 142,113 households across 45 provinces through PromptPay accounts linked to citizen ID numbers, with transfers processed between 12:00-15:00 hours today. The Cabinet has previously approved flood relief in 72 provinces over three rounds, totaling 20,394,635,100 baht and helping 2,239,993 households.
