Crime Suppression Police arrested Sakeering, a 40-year-old man from Pattani, on a court warrant for fraud. The suspect was part of an insurance scam where he deliberately created burn injuries by pouring hot water on his leg to file false insurance claims. He admitted being hired by a woman named 'Duen' who paid him 12,000 baht to open bank accounts and create fake insurance claims. Sakeering received 5,000 baht per fraudulent claim and had done this approximately twice. Police discovered he previously had criminal records related to drug offenses and fraud.
