Tragic: 44-Year-Old Man Found Dead in Car, Clutching Family Photo and Suicide Note

On February 4, 2024, Police Lieutenant Thavorn Saengsi from Bang Pa-in Police Station reported that at 9:30 PM on February 3, a body was discovered inside a Toyota Vios car parked in a multipurpose dome in Bang Sang Subdistrict, Bang Pa-in District, Ayutthaya Province. The deceased, identified only as Mr. A, was 44 years old and found with a family photo. No signs of physical assault were found. A suicide note revealed the man was struggling with gambling debts and had written an apologetic letter to his family, including details about his financial obligations and life insurance. His wife reported that he had left home around 10:00 PM on February 2 and had not returned. Rescue workers initially received a report about an unconscious person in the car and discovered he had been dead for at least 4 hours. The body was transferred to the Central Institute of Forensic Science for a detailed investigation.
