House Fire Tragedy: Owner Found Dead in Burned Ruins
At 7:20 PM on February 21, Police Lieutenant Phusit Muang Mu from Khok Samrong Police Station received a report of a house fire in Nong Bua Village, Khlong Khet Subdistrict, Lopburi Province. Three fire trucks and a rapid response rescue team were dispatched to the scene. The fire involved a two-story wooden house, made worse by strong winds and the building's age. During the initial investigation, family members searched for Leenawat Somtha, 57, the homeowner who had gone missing. Rescue workers eventually discovered Leenawat's body among the burned wreckage, prompting anguished cries from his family. Police have sent the body for forensic examination to determine the exact cause of death.
