Cyber Police Raid and Arrest Man and Teenager for Online Illegal Firearm Sales

Cyber Police executed a search warrant at an apartment in Samut Prakan, arresting Uthen Palam, 46, from Chanthaburi. The operation targeted an online illegal firearm sales network. Police seized multiple firearms, including modified blank guns and ammunition, after tracking transactions through Facebook. A second suspect, Thon, 19, from Krabi was also arrested at a gas station restroom during a planned weapon exchange. Uthen admitted to purchasing the weapons for personal use from an online contact for 14,000 baht, paying via bank transfer and receiving the items through a private shipping company. Both suspects were taken into custody and will face legal proceedings.
