30-Year-Old Woman Follows Boyfriend Late at Night, Discovers Theft Instead of Infidelity
On February 14, 2024, police officers led by Maj. Gen. Phattanasak Buppha Suwan were ordered to arrest Ms. Porntipa, 30, on a Thanyaburi Court arrest warrant from October 7, 2019. The charges include nighttime theft using a vehicle to facilitate the crime. The arrest was made near a residence in Bang Chan, Bangkok. The incident originated on December 28, 2019, when security personnel at the Khukot MRT station construction site discovered two suspicious individuals carrying plastic bags. Investigations revealed that Porntipa and two male accomplices had stolen 160 metal clips worth 80,000 baht. When questioned, Porntipa admitted she followed her boyfriend out of suspicion of infidelity, only to be drawn into the theft scheme.
