Aggressive Man Attacks 60-Year-Old Ice Shop Owner with Gun, Claims Political Connections

On February 20th at 1:00 PM, Ms. Duang Dao, 60, and her 29-year-old daughter filed a police report at Bang Bua Thong Police Station in Nonthaburi after being attacked by a man named Thep Rith, aged 40-45. CCTV footage showed the suspect wearing a green shirt, pulling out a gun, and physically assaulting Ms. Duang Dao by slapping her face three times and kicking her in the stomach. The incident occurred outside her ice shop, with the attacker claiming to be a local politician's subordinate and threatening the victim. Ms. Duang Dao reported that the man seemed intoxicated and aggressively confronted her workers about driving, eventually attacking her when she tried to mediate. Police have identified the suspect and are currently searching for him.
