Tragic Accident: Young Female Teacher Dies After Crashing Car into Taxi and BTS Pillar
A tragic accident occurred involving a 27-year-old female teacher who was driving a car that crashed into a taxi, jumped the central median, and violently struck a BTS Green Line pillar, resulting in her death. The incident happened at 4:30 AM on February 19, 2026, in the Ladyao area of Chatuchak District, Bangkok. Police Lieutenant Phuridech Krairat from Bang Khen Police Station was notified and arrived at the scene with traffic police and emergency rescue teams. The gray Honda City was found severely damaged, with the front bumper torn off and the left side of the vehicle completely destroyed. Despite rescue efforts that included CPR for over 30 minutes, the driver could not be revived. The victim, identified as Ms. Kalaya (last name withheld), a kindergarten teacher, was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt and brown skirt.
