Singapore Ladies Masters Announces Increased Prize Money with 'Kan' Leading Thai Women's Team
The Singapore Ladies Masters is set to return for its third tournament, with an increased prize pool of $120,000 (approximately 3.7 million baht), to be held at Laguna National Golf Resort Club in Singapore from June 12-14. Led by Kan Bunnabodee, the tournament is part of the China LPGA Golf Tour (CLPGA), which launched in 2023 and has become a breakthrough platform for new golfers. The event has attracted new sponsorship from Guizhou Moutai, increasing the prize money by 20%. The tournament will feature 108 golfers competing in a 54-hole stroke play format, including rising stars like Herin Yijie, a 16-year-old Chinese amateur who has already made history by winning multiple CLPGA tour events. Other notable participants include Sue Ing, a newly turned professional who recently won the World Amateur Team Championship, and top tour players like Sui Xiang, Shi Yuli, and Pang Runzhi. The tournament also provides a wildcard entry to 13-year-old Australian prodigy Fu Yu Yang and offers spots to 8 Singaporean golfers to promote local talent development.
