Navy Commander visited disabled war veterans on Veterans Day 2026, highlighting that those who sacrifice for the nation deserve care. On February 3, 2026, Admiral Pairot Fuengchan, Navy Commander, along with Admiral Nares Wongtrakul and Rear Admiral Witchu Bamrung, traveled to boost morale and show concern for Sailor Nom Suwanpitak, a veteran disabled while protecting national sovereignty in the Navy. The Navy Commander presented financial support from the Thai Welfare Fund for Sacrificial Personnel in Southern Border Provinces and Navy-responsible areas, along with gift baskets and food. The visit was welcomed by Dr. Ernfa Na Nakorn, Deputy Director of Veterans Hospital, at the patient building. The Navy Commander conversed warmly, expressing gratitude for veterans who dedicated their bodies and lives to protect the country, considering their sacrifice as heroic and an example of courage for Thai citizens.
