Lizard Nearly Dies: Swimming Instructor Performs CPR and Saves Drowning Creature
Coach Ta, a 40-year-old swimming instructor at Nong Prue Municipal Swimming Pool, shared an extraordinary story of animal rescue. During his routine morning pool check, he discovered a lizard floating motionless underwater. After pulling the creature out and noticing its water-filled belly, he performed gentle chest compressions between its front legs. The coach carefully worked to expel water from the lizard's mouth, and remarkably, the animal soon regained consciousness. "I didn't know exactly where its heart was, so I gently pressed between its front legs," Coach Ta explained. He emphasized that whether saving humans or animals, the key is to remain calm, assess the situation, and act quickly. "Every life has value," he added, using the incident to remind people about the importance of proper rescue techniques and the potential to save lives with prompt, thoughtful intervention.
