Pro Jeno Secures 6-Under Lead, Closes in on Honda LPGA 2026 Championship

The Honda LPGA Thailand 2026 golf tournament at Siam Country Club Old Course in Chonburi features 72 world-class LPGA Tour golfers competing for a total prize pool of 1.8 million dollars, approximately 60 million baht on February 21st, the third day of the competition. 'Pro Jeno' Atthaya Thitikul, the world's No. 1 female golfer, maintained her hot streak by scoring 6-under par 66 with 7 birdies and 1 bogey, bringing her total to 20-under par 196 and taking a solo lead. South Korean Kim Hyo-joo trails by two strokes at 18-under par 198. Among the notable Thai players, 'Pro April' Chanoknan Angkurasurachai performed well, adding 8-under par to reach 12-under par 204 and climbing to a tie for 11th place, alongside 'Pro Praw' Chanettee Wannasaen, who added 4-under par. Pro April commented that she played smoothly, especially on par-5 holes, and felt relaxed with her coach as her caddie. She noted the extremely hot weather and plans to play strategically on the final day. Other Thai golfers' performances included Pro Me (Ariya Jutanugarn) at tied 18th, Pro Meow (Pajaree Anannarukarn) at 29th, Pro Warn (Pornanong Phetchlumm) at 38th, and others further down the leaderboard.
