Yossanan Invites Undecided Voters to Focus on Policies, Jullapan Warns Against Pointing Fingers About Patriotism
On January 30, 2026, Yossanan Wongsawat, Pheu Thai Party's prime ministerial candidate, along with Jullapan Amornvivat, the party leader, went live on the Pheu Thai Party Facebook page to communicate policies with the public. Yossanan discussed a poll showing many people are still undecided about which political party to choose. He stressed that people should focus on policies more than political parties, and encouraged voters to ask themselves what they want and how they envision the country's future. He suggested checking out the party's YouTube channel for policy clips and even a policy-explaining game on their website. "I want people to study the policies, and most importantly, ask themselves. If it feels right, then it is right, because the rights belong to us," Yossanan said. Jullapan addressed campaign strategies that try to divide people between "patriotic" and "unpatriotic" parties. He argued that they've moved beyond such historical divisions of "angel" and "demon" parties, and cautioned against finger-pointing about who is good or bad. The Pheu Thai leader emphasized that elections should start with policies. While he wants people to choose Pheu Thai, he stressed that it ultimately depends on people's individual decisions. He criticized how some political discourse creates a "fog" that obscures policy discussions, with some parties focusing more on divisive rhetoric than substantive plans. "What matters is not declaring ourselves as the best, but creating mechanisms and systems that allow the country to move forward and prevent corruption, regardless of who is in power," Jullapan concluded.
