Lawyer Ronnarong Requests Constitutional Court Review of Election Ballot QR Code Controversy

On February 17, 2024, at the Election Commission (EC) office, prominent lawyer Ronnarong Kaewphet submitted a letter to the Ombudsman requesting the Constitutional Court to nullify the election. He is concerned that the QR codes printed on election ballots compromise voting secrecy as outlined in Article 85 of the constitution. Ronnarong filed a complaint against the EC, alleging improper official conduct under Criminal Code Article 157.
