Must-Try Dish: Black Squid Seafood from the Three Bays Region
Located in a fisherman's community in Prachuap Khiri Khan, the 'Ramun Lin' restaurant offers a special black squid seafood dish that stands out from typical preparations. Owner Jiraphad Chantawong, 48, developed the recipe using a unique seafood dipping sauce that gives the dish a subtle, slightly sour taste without being sweet or bitter.
Using fresh daily-caught squid from local fishermen, Jiraphad carefully prepares the dish by blanching the squid, sautéing it with chili and specific seasonings, and finishing with a signature seafood sauce. The dish has become so popular that nearly every customer orders it, priced at 150 baht per plate.
Customers interested in trying this specialty can visit the restaurant near the Tam Nang Lom National Park entrance, contact them at 081-1923688, or check their Facebook page for more details.
