Tragic Accident: Giant Jamjuree Tree Branch Collapses on Study Group, Killing 1 and Injuring 2

A large, ancient Jamjuree tree branch collapsed on an agricultural study group at a farm in Phetchaburi at 5:30 PM on February 12, 2024. Emergency Center 191 and Phetchaburi Police received reports of a tree falling and injuring three people in the Nong Ya Plong subdistrict. The incident took place on a grass lawn prepared for a study group, where a decades-old Jamjuree tree branch broke and fell on three female participants aged 45-55. Emergency services rushed to the scene and transported the victims to the hospital. One woman was critically injured and died later, while two others suffered broken arms, head injuries, and body pain. The group was on an alternative agriculture study tour when the accident occurred, and authorities will investigate the incident further.
